Oh, what a disapointment! We just learned of Bill's passing today (Feb. 9, 2012). Bill was such a fine gentleman - a role model to me. Carol and I had the blessing of living across the street from Bill and Jeannette when we first moved to Indianapolis. We visited frequently with all of the Chislers and felt a very strong bond to each. Jeannette would babysit our baby girls from time to time and was always ready to lend a helping hand and/or sound advice to Carol when it came to raising children. When "Grandma Macon" would come to visit (which she did nearly every summer) we would look forward to visiting with her. When we moved to Carmel in order for our girls to attend Carmel Clay Schools, where I was employed for 35 years as a principal, we slowly lost contact with the Chisler family - much to our regret. In preparation for an open house to celebrate my 70th birthday, our daughters joined Carol and me in wanting to invite Bill and Jeannette to an open house at our daughter Amy's home in Carmel - the rest of us now live in Loveland, Ohio (a suburb of Cincinnati). Now, unfortunately, we'll have only memories of Bill. Hopefully we can reconnect with Jeannette and the children soon. If one or more members of the family would try to contact Carol and/or me, we would be most appreciative. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family.

I only joined the club back in 2007. The year that I was the club president Bill always treated me with great respect and support. I loved the stories he would share along with his sense of humor. Bill was also a top notch speech evaluator. Bill you now have the whole world to evaluate.

We will truly miss you Bill and love and appreciate the legacy you have left us in Toastmasters.

Whenever I saw him at church, Mr. Chisler always had a smile, hearty handshake and positive words to share. My sympathy to the Chisler Family on their loss.

All those years at Broadway, the Chisler family made a great influence on me. I fondly remember Mr. Chisler for his ever-ready smile and I extend my condolences to Mrs. Chisler, Biff and Barb...love & prayers...patti

I was an electrician that worked for Bill at OK Trucking. Not a close friend but the man I knew was as nice a person as you would ever meet. I am sorry for your loss.

There are few things more difficult than dealing with the loss of a loved one.
