Thomas Edward Mason, III, of Alexandria, VA, passed away on January 20, 2012. Beloved husband of 54 years to Joyce A. Mason. Loving father of Deborah A. Ray, Ronald E. Mason and Karen E. Phelps and her husband Frank. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas B. Ray, Kelly M. Ray, Edward DiBrango, Jr. and his wife Courtney and Jace D. Phelps. Great grandfather of Blake E. Stearns and Gavin R. Stearns. Dear brother of Laura Farmer and Carol Creel. The family will receive friends at the EVERLY FUNERAL HOME, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030 on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, VA. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association www.heart.org or the Shriner's Hospital for Children www.shrinershospitalforchildren.org
