Robert M. Shaver, 88, died October 25, 2011. He was born in Frankfort, IN to the late Carl and Kathryn Ghere Shaver on February 21, 1923. He was a veteran of WWII and its Battle of the Bulge, receiving the bronze star medal and the Belgium Fourragere.

After graduating from Purdue University he was employed many years at Western Electric, retiring in 1984.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pauline; brother, Charles, sons; Mark, Kurt, and Charles; daughters, Barbara and Marie Holloway; and five grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 29, 2011, at St. Pius X Church with calling one hour prior. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
