R. Vernon Earle, Jr.
86, of Indianapolis passed away February 14, 2012. Engineer 38 years at Allison Division of GM, retired 1988. Member of Broad Ripple United Methodist Church. Volunteer at the Indpls Marion County Public Library for 13 years. Founding member of the Indpls Civil War Round Table in 1955. Survived by his wife Pat, sister Marilyn Gulledge, daughters Jane Richardson, Cynthia Grigdesby and Martha Ovall, sons Ralph, William and Robert, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Private services have been held. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation at www.parkinson.org.
