Lucille C McNutt, 81, of Fishers passed away Oct 14, 2011. Born May 26, 1930 in Richmond, IN to William and Anna Tiemeyer. She grew up in Richmond and graduated from Earlham College in 1952 with a BA degree in Organ Performance. In Richmond, she played the organ at her home church, St. John's Lutheran Church, and for a time at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Lucille married Jack P. McNutt in 1952 and moved to Indianapolis and served as the Organist at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon, IN. In 1962, Lucille became the Organist/Choir Director of Pleasant View Lutheran Church, Indpls, IN a position she held for 35 years. She also was a member of American Guild of Organists and Sigma Phi Gamma, Theta Omicron Chapter social sorority.
Survivors include sons Steve, Gary (Sherry), Randy (Leslie), Dan (Colleen) and daughter Julie Stocks (Dan), 15 grandchildren Amanda, Ally, Cory, Kiley, Wesley, Courtney, Katie, Jeffrey, Ryan, Max, Austin, Nathan, Jonathan, Caleb and Jessica; sister -in-law Sandra (Mike) Johnson of Toledo, OH.
Funeral service will be held on Oct 18 at 10:00 am at Pleasant View Lutheran Church, 801 West 73rd Street, Indpls 46260. Calling will be Oct 17, 5-8 pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Ave, Indpls 46220. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Rd, Noblesville, 46062.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Fund, or Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
