Barbara Alice Robbins age 97, of Indianapolis; passed away on October 11, 2011. She was born on August 19, 1914 to the late Frank J. and Minnie Fletcher (Bowker) Rice in Southport Lancashire, England. Barbara was a graduate of Shortridge High School and she also volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader and was a member of the board, Fort Nightly study club, Sunnyside Guild, Holy Family Episcopal Church. She also volunteered at the Museum of Art. Barbara will be greatly missed by her family her daughter Susan Jones, four grandchildren, ten great–grandchildren, a niece Judy Calhoun and two nephews Fred Hendricks and Larry Robbins. Barbara's husband Robert preceded her in death in 1982 along with her daughter Elaine Jones in 1994 and a grandchild Lisa Miller. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 17, 2011 at 12:00 pm at Holy Family Episcopal Church in Fishers; where friends and family are invited to gather there from 11:00 am till time of services. Entombment will follow at Washington Park North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fair Haven Foundation P.O. Box 6396 Fishers, Indiana 46038
