I had the pleasure or working with Larry many years ago at Hinsdale Hospital. He was a dedicated Blood Banker and loved to argue BB processes, politics, sports, etc.
Though I had not seen him in many years, my last memories are of him in the BB at Hinsdale Hospital shaking tubes, and writing down his reacions.
My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. He will be remembered. May God comfort you as you mourn Larry's death.
Sincerely,

What a loss...I have known Larry for about 5 months. I will always be indebted to him. He was on the interview team which hired me...I had not had blood bank experience since my basic training thirty years prior. I will never forget he stated that my personality

Then, when he left for the day, he would say, "Good night!" even though it was 7:30 in the morning. The half-hour in-between was filled with either conversations about his children, or stories about Larry in his younger years (all while working simultaneously,

To Larry's family and co-workers,
Words cannot express how very sorry I am about Larry's untimely passing. I will always remember him as a kind, warm-hearted man who loved his family above all things. Larry was one of best Medical Technologists I was ever honored to work with. His knowledge and mentorship will sorely be missed by all who knew him in the Laboratory Medicine field. Please accept my heartfelt condolances.
